Dr. Adam R. Dalesandro

Doctor of Medical Dentistry

A native of Tucson, Dr. Dalesandro grew up in swimming pools and playing soccer all over Arizona.  He attended Salpointe Catholic High School where he was a scholar-athlete.  He shared homeroom with his future wife, Debbie Derickson Dalesandro (Jeffrey Derickson’s oldest daughter).  The couple attended prom together their senior year as well as participated in many activities.  They were married in 2006 and have two children, Lincoln and Kason.

Adam is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Real Estate Finance and Development.  After returning to Tucson, Adam worked for different developers and brokers and was one of the top 1% of Realtors in Southern Arizona.  He decided to go back to the University of Arizona and earn a minor in chemistry in route to his first passion, Dentistry.

Adam is a graduate of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ.  During his education, he received awards in academics as well as, “The Periodontal Therapy Award”, “The Helping Hands Award”, Certificate of Achievement Award, and the “Certificate of Appreciation Award.”

MyKhanh Phan DDS

Dr. Phan studied dentistry at Columbia University in New York City where she received a 4-year scholarship to research in the dental and pharmacology departments. For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Phan received a Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Human Biology, and a minor in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto in Canada. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia, Dr. Phan enrolled in a residency program at a Level I Trauma Center outside of New York City where she learned, along with all areas of dentistry, how to comprehensively treat and manage in-house patients, Operating Room and complicated trauma cases. Dr. Phan ran her own private practice providing cosmetic and family dental care for many years in California before relocating.

Dr. Phan’s father was a physician and his passion for patient care was her inspiration to pursue a career in healthcare. Dr. Phan has always enjoyed the arts and spent many of her free hours while growing up painting, or practicing the piano and violin. She has been able to leverage the dexterity and attention to detail which she honed over those years in her practice of dentistry. As a life-long learner, she aspires to build long lasting relationships with patients based on open communication, partnership, integrity and trust; addressing the patients’ needs and concerns first and foremost in a safe and comfortable environment.

Due to her husband’s global career, Dr. Phan has lived in many states and in many countries. Dr. Phan and her family have been in Tucson since September 2019 and this is definitely a place where she and her family feel at home and intend to grow some roots. She loves the desert beauty, the access to the outdoors, and enjoys hiking and skiing with her family in the mountains around Tucson and beyond. Dr Phan is married with three daughters, two are in university, and one still at home. Dr. Phan and her family share a passion for travel, celebrating differences and eating! They all enjoy cooking together and sometimes, nothing is better than spending  quality time sharing a great meal with others.

Emily Yasmer DMD

A Tucson native and the daughter of dentist Dr. Larry Yasmer, Dr. Emily Yasmer was inspired from a young age to pursue a career in dentistry. Observing the positive impact her father had on his patients' lives sparked her passion for the field.

     Dr. Yasmer attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate education, as well as her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She graduated in 2002 and  returned to Tucson to begin practicing dentistry. Her practice emphasizes preventive care, cosmetic dentistry, and patient education.

     Dr. Yasmer is a member of several professional organizations and attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest dental techniques and technologies, ensuring her patients receive the best possible care. She has given her time at the St. Elizabeth’s Dental Clinic, The  Pasqua Yaqui Tribe Clinic and several nursing homes around Tucson. 

     Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Yasmer enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and is active in the community and charitable activities.

Debbie Dalesandro

Office Manager/Hygienist

Debbie is Dr. Adam Dalesandro’s wife.  They met in homeroom at Salpointe Catholic High School in 1993 and swam on the Varsity swim team together where they participated in State all 4 years.  They even went to Prom together!  They married in 2006 and have been working together since 2012.

Debbie attended Northern Arizona University and received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2002.  She has been practicing hygiene since then and loves her patients and enjoys meeting new people and their families.  She is also taking over her mother’s position as Office Manager.

Debbie enjoys traveling, socializing with her friends, and anything and everything Disney.  Her current favorite thing to do is raising her two boys, Lincoln and Kason.  She is a full-time soccer mom and their biggest cheerleader on the sidelines.

Eileen

Dental Hygienist

Eileen was raised in an Air Force family in Alamogordo, New Mexico then moved to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in science of dental hygiene in 2007.  She then moved to Tucson, Arizona where she has been practicing as a hygienist in both the corporate and private dental office settings.  She is so grateful to be working alongside Dr. Dalesandro and his caring staff. Her goal each workday is to ease her patients’ dental anxiety and to have each patient leave happier than he or she had arrived.

Eileen enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonas and their three kids, Carli, Bodhi, and Ari. Her hobbies include training jiu jitsu, hiking, painting, and taking trips to the beach.

Cindy

Dental Hygienist

Cindy was raised in Huber Heights, Ohio, which was known for having the largest brick home community in America.  She moved to Tucson in 1989.  Cindy has an Associates degree in Science from McHenry County College.  She earned an Associates degree in Applied Science/Dental Hygiene at Pima a Community College, graduating with honors.  She decided to study dental hygiene because her dentist encouraged her to go into that field.  She has been a hygienist since 1995.  She loves being a dental hygienist because of the diverse group of patients that she has the pleasure of seeing each day.

Margaret

Dental Hygienist

Margaret always wanted to be a dental hygienist since 9th grade. She started as a dental assistant in her high school dental health program. She completed her Associate of Dental Hygiene degree at Indiana University Northwest. Her passion for dentistry together with health-minded values, assures the patient will receive excellent care. She applies patient care to the systemic link between mouth and whole-body health. Margaret loves to learn and gain new knowledge about supplements, health options, as well as new dental technology with continuing education. Her brother and niece brought her to Tucson. She loves cooking, photography and horseback riding.

Angelica

Dental Hygienist

Angelica is the newest member of our team, but certainty not new to dentistry. She earned her degree from Pima Community College and is such an asset to our dental hygiene team. When she’s not caring for our patients, she is a caring for her two beautiful children. You can spot this native Tucsonan and her husband at a ball park and attending her kids’ sporting events.

 Dental Hygienist

I once read a quote, "When you choose a career you'd better like it because you might be doing it for the rest of your life". Shortly after high school I chose a career in dentistry and I am still doing it, and I am still loving it. I have worked as a chairside dental assistant, an office manager for an orthodontist and since 1995 I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist. I was adjunct faculty at Pima Community College where I taught Oral Radiology in the Dental Assistant and Dental Hygiene Program. I have had the pleasure of working part-time in this office since 2013 and I look forward to a few more. I have seen incredible changes in the dental field over the years, especially in materials, instruments, and technology. What hasn't changed is the good relationships that are forged with patients when you treat them with kindness and good judgment. On a personal note - I was raised in Ohio and moved to Tucson in 1972. I have a son and daughter and I am blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, with whom I spend as much time as possible.

Front Office

Christine moved to Tucson in March of 2020 from Indiana. She moved to Tucson to enjoy the beautiful sunshine year round. Christine has an abundance of knowledge in the dental and insurance fields. She worked for a major, national medical/dental insurance company for many years. She then returned to her original passion of working with patients in the dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant and realized she could combine her experience with insurance and dentistry to fully help the patients in getting the best care. She loves being outdoors and playing cards with her husband David.

Kristjan

Front Office / Dental Assistant

Kristjan is a valuable member of our team; she is part of our Front Office Team, but also is a Dental Assistant that helps assist the doctors when needed. No matter what, Kristjan always has a smile and a kind word. Patients often praise her gentle touch and demeanor. Kristjan has been in the Dental field since 2020. Originally from Douglas, AZ, she has lived in Tucson since 2013. Her favorite past times are traveling and spending time with her family. She has four adorable kids! The reason she chose to work in Dentistry is to help people fall in love with their smile.

Front Office

Michele is one of our bright and shining smiles at the front desk, she has been in the Dental field for 25 years. Michele is a Tucson native and enjoys watching sports, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her fur baby named Scotty. While being a proud Mom of three beautiful children, Michele somehow finds the time to often cook amazing food and provide mothering to our entire office staff. Michele’s favorite thing is smiles all around.

Griselda

Front Office

Griselda is quite the comedian, in addition to being a star member of the front office team. When she’s not “dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s” for the office, she is watching baseball (primarily the Diamondbacks). Originally from Bisbee, this character has been working in the dental field since 2022. If you’re lucky, you may hear one of her impersonations at your next visit.

Brenda is one of our amazing dental assistants. She was born and raised in Tucson and is such a sweetheart, which  without a doubt, is a quality our patients appreciate. Brenda is fluent in Spanish and has contributed so much help to our office and patients since 2022. She loves watching movies and when she’s not working, you’ll find her at a Starbucks.

Sydnea is a wonderful hands-on dental assistant. She’s been a dental assistant since 2016 – thanks to her mom for inspiring her to do so. Sydnea strives for every patient to leave happy and has a contagious laugh and smile. She loves sports and even plays on a softball team. Fun fact: she loves hot Cheetos and pickles.

Birdy has been a part of our excellent Dental Assistant team since January 2025, and we are so happy to have her. Don't let her small stature (hence the nickname) fool you - she can country line dance circles around most and is a wiz with computers. Birdy was born in Panama, is fluent in Spanish and has a laidback personality that helps our patients feel calm and relaxed.
